General Information

# Product Quality

All products on our outlet website are products that would typically be sold in our various high-end showrooms. All products are first run quality. Products are generally imported from Italy, China, Argentina, Spain and Turkey, or made in the USA.

# Available Quantity

Products on our website are sold on a first come, first serve basis. If part of the order or the entire order is not in stock, we will immediately notify you and advise you of your options.

# Product Variation

All tile is subject to variation in shade and size. All tile measurements are nominal. Hand-made tile is subject to irregularities in size, shape and warpage. Stone is a natural material. There will be color variation from samples and displays, as well as within your shipment.

# Overage

We recommend you order a minimum of 15% overage on any natural stone product, and 5-10% for porcelain tiles.

# Installation

Please inspect all products thoroughly prior to installation. Specialty Tile recommends using an experienced, licensed contractor and quality setting materials to install your tile. Any products with special installation instructions will have additional installation instructions inside of each box. All stone and crackle glaze ceramic tile must be sealed.

# Shipping Costs

To provide you with the lowest shipping cost we can possibly offer - we calculate shipping costs based on specific products, product quantity and delivery location. To find out what your shipping cost is, simply add the proper quantity of the products you would like to your cart, and begin the checkout process. Complete your ship to address, click “continue to shipping method,” and the system will return various shipping quotes for you to choose from.

# Freight Carriers

We use some of the largest and most well-respected carriers in the industry. They specialize in LTL, or "Less Than Truckload" quantities, which is the typical shipping method for heavy, fragile shipments. Please note that UPS & FedEx will only provide quotes for orders under 50 lbs., and LTL carriers will only provide quotes for orders over 50 lbs.

# Typical ETA of Delivery

After you place an order, it generally takes 1 to 2 business days to process. After the order is processed, it is picked up by the freight carrier. The order should no longer than take 3 to 10 business days to arrive at your location, depending on where your delivery address is located.

# Inspect Before You Sign For Delivery

It is your responsibility to make sure that the order is inspected when it is delivered. If you are not going to be the person accepting the order, you must make sure that the person signing the order is capable of doing so. You cannot sign the paperwork and let the driver leave until the order has been thoroughly inspected.

# Damaged Shipments

All our shipments are insured for delivery to your location. If visible damage is found at the time of delivery, have the driver note damage and sign all copies of the freight bill. Any concealed damage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise. Save all cartons, packaging, and damaged units for inspection. Any shortages or discrepancies between the actual shipment and the packing list or your purchase order must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise. Failure to meet any of these requirements will nullify any potential claim.

# Replacement Material

If there is any damaged material, please contact us by phone or email and we will make arrangements for the replacement for this material, when replacement material is available. If replacement material is not available, we will refund your order.

# Residential Delivery

Residential deliveries require "Lift Gate Service." This refers to a platform on the back of a delivery truck which is used to lower your material from the truck to the ground level. We include lift gate service in our freight cost for your convenience. For these deliveries someone must be present at the delivery location. The delivery will be "curbside," meaning that the driver will not bring the material into your home.

# Commercial Delivery

A commercial location must be equipped with either a loading dock, and/or a fork lift, along with all necessary equipment and personnel to unload and handle the freight delivery. If you have a commercial delivery location which meets these specifications and would like to arrange your own freight, please choose the no shipping, pick-up at our location option when checking out, and email orders@specialtytile.com with your order number and shipping instructions.

# Refund Policy

All products sold on our outlet website are final sale, and as such we do not accept returns on any material. Please carefully verify your quantities prior to finalizing your order. Orders can be cancelled via email to orders@specialtytile.com without any fees if the order has not yet shipped out. Installation constitutes full and complete acceptance of material. Absolutely no claims or returns will be honored after partial or complete installation.

# Pricing Policy

Specialty Tile's outlet website is used solely for the purposes of liquidating inventory. All material is priced with extremely low prices which cannot be honored for day to day sales requiring full service. As such, these prices are only applicable on current available quantities, and can only be honored for transactions on this site. Additional material, subject to availability, will be quoted at our regular price.

# Terms of Sale

Specialty Tile Products, Inc. is not a contractor. It does not perform or contract for the installation of any products it sells. All quantities must be verified by buyer's installer. Specialty Tile Products, Inc. accepts no responsibility whatsoever for quantities and measurements. We provide takeoff quantities for estimating purposes only. The recommendation of Specialty Tile Products, Inc. of any licensed contractor for work or installation of any product sold hereunder shall be a recommendation only and shall not be deemed to be an act of contraction on behalf the client. Client is solely responsible for hiring or contraction with contractors or laborers for the installation of products sold hereunder.

This document constitutes the entire agreement of the parties and no other promises, warranties, agreements or representations have been made which are not contained herein. All notices to be given under this agreement shall be in writing and shall be sent registered or certified mail to: Specialty Tile Products, Inc., 1275-D Oakbrook Drive, Norcross, GA 30093. By submitting, and/or signing this order client agrees that it accurately reflects the buyer's wishes. All changes or revisions to this order must be done via email to orders@specialtytile.com, and a new order form reflecting those changes must be signed before changes or cancellations will be processed. Specialty Tile Products, Inc. reserves the right to delay the processing of this order until the order form, and/or the credit card charge has been accepted by our Merchant account, and/or receipt have been signed.
